Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

 One adventure I would like to go on is an adventure to Europe with my close friends. We want to backpack through the Nordic countries like Norway and Sweden. We think it would be an amazing time and really think its possible to plan in the future. While we would be there we would go on many hikes exploring the great beautiful terrain and culture. We would also like to go snowboarding in the Alps all together as we have gone down to Colorado the past two years to snowboard in Denver. I really think it would be an amazing experience for us all to experience together.

Today in class we all presented our Origin myth stories to each other. 

I learned today how two respect everyone while they are presenting their own projects. I also was able to learn about everyone's own creative Origin Myths they created and the various elements that can go into them.

In “Because I could not stop for Death,” Emily Dickinson presents life as a journey that eventually comes to an end. What experiences in your life have reminded you that time moves quickly? How have those experiences affected the way you value your time?

 One experience in my life that made me come to realization how fast time really moves is when both of my sisters moved out of the house. They moved out of the house to get a greater education at college. After my older sister moved out time went by so fast and my other sister moved out as well. This experience made me realize how fast time really moves. I was from school today but I can’t reflect on this quote by living my life to the fullest and not letting time go to waste. I can reflect on this quote and include it in my life by living my life to the fullest. Time moves by very fast and in an instant I’ll be in college so I have to cherish the moments with my parents while I can.

In Part I of A Rose for Emily, Emily’s house stands out from the community and reflects both her past and the changes happening around her. Think about a house, building, or place that holds special memories for you. What does that place look like, what memories do you connect with it, and what does it represent to you?

 One building that holds special memories for me is my house that I have grown up in most of my life. We moved into my house when I was very young and I instantly fell in love with it. I watched my sisters grow up in it and had some good and bad memories in the house. But this house will always have a special place in my heart. My loving parents raised me and my sisters in this house and I will never forget it. Today in class we started the story "A Rose For Emily," and answered questions about it. I can reflect on this story by staying sentimental about where I reside or places to me that are special. Like my grandmas houses and friends cherishing memories in them.
